Determine what size you want your bracelet by measuring your wrist and adding about 1", but be sure before you cut your cord that is a good feel for you. If you like your bracelet loose you may want to add more, or if you like it tighter you might want to add less. Add an extra 2" to work with, that will be knotted and cut later.
In this tutorial I have several beads of different sizes and shapes, so I want to establish a pattern.
I have cut my beading cord and added a bead stopper to one end so I don't lose my beads.
Now I will begin adding the beads on the cord in my pattern. So far I have added a small bead, larger bead and then a rectangle bead onto the cords for my double strand bracelet.
I have turned over my work because the rectangle beads tend to twist, so this makes it easier to keep them all in order when doing a double strand, especially with my rectangle beads.
Okay I am almost done! be sure all is strait and all looks good. Always check your work not once, not twice but three times.
Now I can turn over my work and check it, then tie it off each strand and add some E-6000 right onto the knots I made.
First I knot it one direction and then I knot it another direction. Then run your cord through one more time and add the E-6000.
Using your Beadalon Nipper Tool cut the cord as close to the knots as possible without cutting the knots. Leave a tiny tail and add the E-6000 now allow to dry for about 30 minutes. You're done!
Here is the finished product, now you can make some earrings to match your new bracelet as well. Have fun!
