Paper 3D Easter Bunny Baskets or Treat Baskets Made with My Silhouette Cameo

I have been crafting up a storm, but trying to find time to get online. In-between crafting and my busy days trying to balance my life between my elderly mom, daughter and grandkids it's just a crazy life. Naturally if you have an elderly mom she needs a lot of help. Unfortunately my one brother whom lives nearby does not help me with anything but God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who helps my mom with so many things.  Trying to get together with the kids is hard especially since they both work. In any event we make time as often as we can. This weekend I am suppose to see Kirsten and baby Rylan, he is 7 months old now.  Check out his cute photos two post back here is the link.

We have decided to not take a vacation or to move out of state at this time, there is just to many situations that are beyond our control to prevent us from moving at this time in our lives. We also calculated our gas cost to Bryce Canyon and it's just to much money to go there for that trip. If I am going to spend that kind of money on gas I want to go somewhere that is not in the desert. I want to go to Vancouver and Steve is not really interested in that trip, but that is mainly because of the cost of getting passports. Perhaps another time we can go there.
I am fine with that though because I love it here where we live it's beautiful and I have a good life here.
I know Steve wants to move though and has wanted to since we married, but I always say no, now I say yes, but someday not now. I will miss Shane, Jaime and especially Morgan oh my gosh I cannot bare to think I won't get to see her and go to the movies and shopping with her as often as we do now. Just makes me so very sad. They are moving to Utah this summer because of Shane's job relocating to Utah.

Well in any event here are the sweet little crafts I have been making.

Here is two cute 3D paper bunny boxes that are made using my Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machine.

To make the bunny boxes I used this 3D bunny shape box  I used yarn for the ears, nose and tail.

Three 3D paper treat boxes also made with my silhouette cameo cutting machine. These are great because you can use the all year long for cute gift boxes to hold little treats like candy and jewelry and small gifts.

For these cute little boxes I used this 3d shape

I made baby Rylan a crochet bunny for Easter, a lot of toys he has are to big for his tiny hands but this one is perfect.

I have a lot of blogs I follow, so if you don't see yours let me know and I will add it if I visit you often. A lot of blogs I follow are craft blogs and online buddies.
Have a wonderful day! it' very rainy and ugly out. I hope the rain goes away before Easter I don't like rainy Easters.

  1. Hi Kat,
I love your Easter crafts so cute! I am sorry that you won't be going to Bryce :( When we went the summer of 2008 gas was $5.00 and my son paid $5.37 for diesel for his motorhome. Gas here has finally lowered to $4.33 I just hope it continues to drop. I know you would miss your family if you moved out of state. You know I was beside myself when my family moved 90 miles away from me back in 2005. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week. Hugs, Dru

I thought you said you would miss them if you moved. I didn't know they were moving :( I came back to re-read your post! That is going to be so hard but Utah isn't that far you will have nice visits with them. Hugs, Dru

  6. Love the Easter baskets, too. when Shane moves to Utah then you can take that trip to Bryce Canyon because you can visit Shane and Family. If you ever do go to Vancouver, make sure you take the ferry and visit Victoria and Butchardt Gardens! You'd love that! (((Hugz)))

  7. Your paper art is beautiful. Very pretty. The little crochet bunny is adorable.
I know how hard it is going to be for you to not see Morgan as much as before. I don't see Nicky or Elizabeth because Carrie moved to Texas last November. It breaks my heart to know how much we have missed and are going to miss. I try, to take one day at a time. More times than not, I fail. I believe that when the time is right to make a huge life-change, you will know. At this time, you are wise to think about it first before you leap. It is too hard to start over again and again.
Anyhow, I always enjoy looking at your wonderful arts and crafts. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
    Hugs,
