Spring Has Sprung and It's Nearly Time for the House Closing

Hello All, or few these days....

Since I have not had time to keep up with my blog, my blogging buddies are waning. But I wanted to post in here about our new adventure of selling our house and moving to moms house and fixing it up. IT is going to be late getting done and I am starting to get worried where we will stay. This house closes on the 28th, unless anything comes up this week. I pray not!
My father in law was hit in the head with a hammer and then fell off a ladder the very same day and ended up in the emergency room and stayed in the hospital for 4 days with an concussion. He had recently had a brain tumor removed about 6 months ago. He is not allowed to do a lot of things so everything got slowed down and he eventually hired another worker to cover himself.
This is our house for about two more weeks and then hopefully we can work around the mess of moms house redo. I think a lot will get done this week, but we will need at least one working bathroom before we can move into it.
It's one day at a time Sweet Jesus...this is where I get stressed out and I am trying not to stress out.
I still have a lot of packing to do things I saved for the last days before moving because we still needed to cook and enjoy the comforts of our home. Behind those big closed garage doors though is a  packed pile of boxes.

Okay changing the subject I just found out about this really cool place called Bountiful Baskets Co-Op
I know several friend on Facebook who are doing this. Check it out!
Bountiful Baskets is a not-for-profit food co-op for families that want to have more fresh produce for less money.

I am probably going to have to shut down all three of my shops for 2 weeks. I hate doing it, but I am over my head. I will do it at the last moment though.

Tomorrow we will be eating the traditional Saint Patrick's Day meal and something green, my sugar cookie recipes, how about you? will you be eating anything green or wearing green?

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Have a  great Sunday! Blessings ~Kat

  1. Hi Kat, we are getting our house ready to sell and it is a lot of work. We do not know what we will find, only that we need to downsize. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Sorry about your FIL. I hope he gets well soon.
