Thanksgiving Blessings Mix

Posted on my Blog from previous years.
Yum Yum!

Bugles: Shaped like a cornucopia or Horn of Plenty, a symbol of our abundance.
Pretzels: Arms folded in prayer.
Candy Corn: Hardships of the Pilgrim's first winter. Food was so scarce that the settlers survived on just a few kernels of corn per day.
Nut or Seeds: Promise of a future harvest, one will reap only if seeds are planted and tended to with diligence.
Dried Fruits/Raisin : Harvest gifts of our bountiful land.
M&Ms: Memories of those who came before us to guide us to a blessed future.
Hershey's Kiss: The love of family and friends that sweetens our lives.
Isn't this a wonderful recipe? Are you counting your blessings?

Ok yes Thanksgiving is over and I missed posting on that day, but I alway do anymore.

I hope you had a Blessed Thanksgiving!

The weather is wet and rainy here in Northern CA and we need it so bad. Thank you God!

Pies Pies Pies, who does not love Thanksgiving Day with the wonderful Pumpkin Pie, I also made a Pumpkin Cheesecake and a as you can see Pecan Pie. Pecan's are grown locally here in Northern CA. CA is the largest producer of nuts, Pecans, Walnuts and Almonds, Pistachio and so on. 90% of nuts each year are produced right here in CA and we love them. We also have a Mediterranean climate. California's Climate in much of the state is warm, to hot with dry, mild to cool summers, wet winters. I was reading about our state recently and found out about the climate being like from the Mediterranean, thought that was interesting.
