It's Almost Christmas! Can you Feel it? Quick and Easy Jelly Roll Table Runner

Merry Christmas!

I want to do a tutorial of sorts (Not Really) today for a quick Christmas Gift made using a Jelly Roll, that's fabric, LOL!
Here is a photo of one of the three I made, these are quick and easy if you want to make something cute and special and have jelly roll's on hand. You won't have time to ship and make it before Christmas now. But you can purchase and make this for other holidays and everyday using any of the jelly rolls with your favorite fabric.

This is the finished look, I used the ~~Riley Blake Lost and Found Christmas Jelly Roll ~~
to make this.
In case that link stops working click this link at Riley Blake's Website.
You just buy a  jelly roll and cut it to the width you want and then sew the strips together, quilt as desired, add a border and walla you are done. It takes me a few hours to hand stitch the border on the back of the quilt. I am so slow. Hope you are quicker.

Yesterday I went antiquing and found that adorable turquoise 1959 candy, decorating and candle dish at the Antique Store. I love it! It's quirky cute. I set it on top the table runner.

I made three table runners, one for my daughter and DIL and myself. With 2 Jelly rolls you can make four table runners. Don't forget the backing fabric. Don't buy one way designs though, that will cause you to have to purchase more fabric, use a design that can be used any direction, that will save you a lot of $$ on fabric. I always use a matching fabric from the Jelly Roll Collection I used for the backing. I always use the speciality fabric by Riley Blake and others because if you're going to quilt you want it to last and be beautiful, so that is why I use the best fabric I can for my projects. Also when you buy the fabric in these sets, you don't have to waste time trying to match all the fabric up, it's already done for you!

These are other Riley Blake Jelly Rolls that I will make a quick quilt with.

The above photo shows some of the adorable vintage style fabric, super cute.

You can roll out a few of these in a few days if you are not super busy and set your mind to it. If you have children, maybe longer or stay up late and get them done.

Have a Very Merry Christmas!
