Hello All,

Ok this is my 4th post today, as I try to catch up on a bit of April and all of May.

We all know what camping is, but have you ever heard of Glamping. Well if you've seen some fabric and other images with the word Glamping on it, which is all the rage then you know what Glamping is. Honestly I never knew of this word until I made my daughters quilt for her for Christmas, 2 Christmases back.
According to Wikipedia it is a style of camping with amenities, in some cases resort style services not usually associated with traditional camping.
In any event in an effort to enjoy getting and celebrate getting order we bought a Mini Light trailer that will hook to the back of my 6 cylinder SUV.
The sticker price is on the camping trailer but we paid $1000.00 left and I, yes me, little ole me had them throw in air conditioning and an awning. After all what is Glamping without air conditioning gees. So we got it $1000.00 less, brand new and had them throw in two luxuries for us. Yay!
We go pick it up next week, right now they are installing the air and awning.

Photos...why yes I do.
Soon we will begin a new chapter in our lives and we go Glamping!

Finished Quilt Another Started

Hello Friends,

I started this quilt because I was in love with Siamese Cats and still am of course, I bought this fabric from the UK could not find it in the US by M.Makower.

I was working on this earlier this year, had finished sewing the top together but needed to quilt it, well it's all done, but my Siamese cat Milo is gone forever.
Here I am reflecting on things to come and things that have changed looking at my mini garden that will produce for me, Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Green, Yellow and Red, Squash, Lemon Cucumbers, Cucumbers and Artichokes. I think that is it. hmmm....
Already my garden has grown leaps and bounds since this photo was taken about 8 days ago, it just took off as the days are warmer now.

In April I had to say good-bye to my sweet sweet love cat I adopted Milo. He and my dog would not get along and so after 3 months I returned him. I cried so hard. It was hard. I still think of him daily.
Here is one of the last photos I took of him on the very day I had to say good-bye, exactly one week before my birthday.

I miss him so much I want to ask for him back, but they would not give him back, plus the one of my dogs will still not like him.

I will always love my sweet sweet Milo.

Thank God for Cozy Quilts to make me feel better.

Happy Quilting!

Kat's Crafting ---- Crochet Necklace and Tassel Necklace

Hello All,

Every year I get excited to do something and this year I am back into making crochet necklaces. I like doing them because they are fast and fun usually.
I am going to take a cruise this year to Alaska and I wanted a few cute pieces of jewelry to wear that I made. I also made mom a cute crochet necklace for Mother's Day.

Check them out....

The first one I made with Swarovski Crystals, really beautiful color of purplish. Cute cute, I used small beads on the strand Czech Beads.

Here above is crochet bib necklace with a Flower, Crochet Beaded Necklace using inexpensive beads with larger holes for a double strand necklace, the beads are Czech Beads.

Lastly I made a tassel necklace, very popular right now, with a mermaid pendant in the center. Cute Cute!

Happy Crocheting to my Crochet Friends!

April Showers Bring May Flowers and a Trip to San Francisco Bonita Lighthouse Family Day

Hello All,

We did not have that much rain, but we've had some. California is still in a drought. I've heard on the news last night that we are going to have an El Nino year coming up next year or even the year after. So rain is on the way and the drought will end eventually. Right now, it's all we hear about in the news. I get so tired of hearing about it. It's like the sky is falling, granted it's serious, but water management would have been nice. Maybe we can learn a lesson and plan for the next drought that will surely come.

So I've been up to so much that I have not posted in here. I am thinking of making this more like a website, or just a monthly dairy really since I do not blog much. I have very few bloggers I get a chance to visit.

We are pretty much done working on the house and this year is a travel year, as we have many vacations coming up! Yay!

For the Month of April my family and I went to San Francisco for a day trip. We had a lot of fun, other than the fact an inspected wave came and knocked my DIL into the ocean, twice! We also visited Bonita Lighthouse that day with the kids. Rylan walked the whole way in with me holding my hand. It was so sweet.
Here are a few photos of our day

A photo of the trail the walk out, my son there and in front of him my SIL Glenn with the shaved head. Seems everyone is walking out at their own pace, I stay behind to take photos. As you can see part of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Nice Family Day.

Have a Wonderful Day!
