Spring is always a crazy weather month here in NorCal.
It's spring, it's winter, it's summer. Today it is actually a spring day, yesterday was more like a summer day and last week it was like winter on a few days to the point I thought I would have to turn on the heater.
I've had the air conditioner on and thought we may need to turn the heater back on. But we managed through the chilly day without the heater.
Today I am posting what I have accomplished this past week.
Finished the Lori Holt Millie's Dresses Quilt for my daughter's birthday in August. I still need to quilt the top of it, but the top is finished.
I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Hopefully my daughter Kirsten will love it.
I made this as a wall quilt to go over the couch in my trailer, but it looks a bit to big. I will have to take off the large blue border or trim it down quite a bit.
This is the space I wanted to hang the bear wall hanging behind my friend Peggy and my husband Steve's head. I don't have the trailer at the house, so I will have to go measure. To bad I didn't think of that first.
Look at these adorable photos of the RileyBlake Designs Kewpie Doll. I had fun making the doll and quilt. Everything you need is in the box when you purchase the doll and in the box is the doll and the panel to make the quilt and clothes. I made only the gown so far, but there is overhauls, bib and other things. I also made the quilt which is included on the panel as well.
Sadly I just got a phone call from the Roseville fire department that my mom fell while she was out and is on the way to the emergency room. She has hurt her elbow and hip and do not know if anything is broken or not.
I pray nothing is broken. Until next time take care and God Bless.
