November 2021

Hello Hello! it's been so long since I have posted anything to my blog! We are still in Idaho and we love it here. Had our first snow yesterday of the season. It has been a beautiful fall this year now gone. We are in winter weather now.
So our year has not been a great year. Mom passed away on May 5th here in Idaho. She lived with us but passed away at a hopice house here in North Idaho. It has been so hard for me. After I got to feeling better last year I brought mom home. They were not letting us see her and it was so hard on her. I guess you could say we were inseparable. My heart was broken even though last November I knew she was at the end of her life and I am surprised she made it all the way to May 2021. I cry everyday. It has been 6 months and 5 days. Mom had dementia. The last years were hard years on her and us. We flew her to California to lay her to rest and had her funeral there. She is buried next to her husband.
I got a macbook pro the other day so I could work on my website from my bed or the couch. I have an ipad but I don't like to work on websites from it things don't work right. Since we have lived here in Idaho we have been back to California 4 times and we moved here in September 2019. My daughter and grandson came in July for two weeks it was really nice. My son and his wife came last Thanksgiving. We are about to head back to California in December to see the family. I am posting a photo of Marley and Me before I go. I'll be back soon to talk about North Idaho life, grief and severe depression.
Be back soon! ~Kat

  2. Hi Kat, thanks for visiting. You have had this blog a long time! I am sorry about your mom. I lost my mom in 2010 from Alzheimer's. She was only 75. Grief is different for everyone. I took my dad's death really hard and got grief counseling. Take care of yourself!
